CodifyIQ builds software for organizations that serve the public, including Federal agencies. We treat accessibility as a functional requirement of the systems we deliver — not as a review step at the end.

Standards we work to

We design, build, and test to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) and the Revised 508 Standards at 36 CFR Part 1194, which incorporate the WCAG 2.0 Level AA success criteria for electronic content and software user interfaces.

What this covers

CodifyIQ provides IT and cloud professional services. We do not resell hardware or commercial software products, so we do not publish product accessibility reports. Our accessibility obligations attach to the information and communication technology we build, configure, and maintain for our clients — applications, interfaces, and content produced as project deliverables.

How we build accessible software

  • Accessibility is specified up front. Applicable accessibility requirements are identified during requirements definition and design, alongside functional and security requirements.
  • We start from accessible foundations. Wherever the requirement permits, we build on user interface frameworks and component libraries designed for accessibility, documented for conformance, and independently tested against accessibility criteria — for example, Google's Material Design widget libraries. Components that ship with correct semantics, keyboard interaction, focus management, and contrast behavior mean accessibility is inherited from the platform rather than retrofitted onto it.
  • We test with tools and with people. User interface work is evaluated against the applicable WCAG 2.0 Level AA success criteria during development, using both automated accessibility tooling and manual review.
  • Accessibility defects are real defects. Issues found during development or acceptance testing are tracked and remediated through the same process as any functional defect.

Conformance documentation

Accessibility conformance documentation for a specific deliverable is available on request. For Federal customers, we will provide it in the format your contracting or accessibility office specifies, and we support agencies in documenting any determination of undue burden, fundamental alteration, or commercial non-availability under 36 CFR 1194.1 and FAR 39.204.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website or in software CodifyIQ has delivered to you, we want to hear about it.

Email info@codifyiq.com with the page or application, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using, if any. We acknowledge reports within two business days and will tell you what we intend to do about the issue and when.
